Announcement from TRCC Board of Directors:
Last fall the board was contacted by Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch regarding a former Girl Scout camp site they had purchased in Massachusetts. They were interested in knowing whether TRCC would be interested in relocating to their location. Obviously after having had a 35 year relationship with Camp Bethel this was not an easy decision for the Board to consider. After many prayers, careful consideration, and site visits to Timothy Hill Christian Camp the Board of Directors realized the tremendous opportunity TRCC would have to expand and improve at this new facility. It is in that spirit that The TRCC Board of Directors announces that they will be moving from Camp Bethel to Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch effective with the 2009 Camping Season.
In light of some rumors the Board would like to further point out that neither TRCC nor Camp Bethel initiated this move, it was Timothy Hill that approached us. We also would like to emphasize that TRCC will continue to function in the new location under the same leadership that would be in place should we continue at Camp Bethel. We will be renting the facility from Timothy Hill Children’s Camp in the same manner we currently rent from Camp Bethel.
The Board encourages you to monitor our website for further information as it becomes available over the next few months.
On Behalf of the TRCC Board of Directors

We would like to welcome you to the Tidal River Christian Camp (TRCC)
Website. Tidal River Christian Camp came into being in 1972 as the result of a
felt need by members of the churches of Christ in Connecticut. If you would like
to learn more about our history click here.
Tidal River Christian Camp is a non-profit summer camp located alongside the Connecticut River. For 30+ years TRCC has teaching about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Many congregations from New England (Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and many more) have been working together to make this ministry possible.
TRCC usually starts in the first week of July and goes for four (4) weeks. The first two weeks are "Junior Weeks" for Children ages 8-12 and the last two weeks are "Senior Weeks" for children ages 13-18.
It is always a memorable experience (see camp reports [archived]).
This website has been put together to give all of the official information about TRCC. If you want to be up-to-date with information then please sign up for our E-Newsletter.
